Straight - This is the unprocessed natural hair texture. It is very straight and can be silky as well. It waves up slightly when wet.
Silky Straight - Silky Straight is straight, silky, smooth and shiny. It resembles Caucasian hair and is very fine and silky to the touch. Indian Remy silky straight hair dries with a slight wave after washing. Chinese Remy silky straight remains straighter, but is slightly coarser than Indian Remy hair.
Silky Yaki - This type of yaki is very close to the silky straight hair but if you look closely you can see the yaki ripples in the hair. This type of yaki looks like African American's hair after it has been freshly relaxed and flat ironed bone straight.
Light Yaki - This is an African-American permed texture which resembles a fresh perm. It is a mix of the straight and yaki perm straight textures combined. Therefore it is a little straighter then the yaki perm straight. This hair texture is similar to Megan Good or Tyra Banks.
Yaki Perm Straight - This is an African-American permed texture which resembles a perm after 2-3 weeks.
Yaki - This Yaki is made to look like the typical African American hair that has been relaxed and is not as silky as the silky yaki.
Italian Yaki - Coarse texture similar to pressed with a hot comb unrelaxed hair. "Italian Yaki" texture is for all those who find the kinky straight texture to be a little too kinky for their taste. Italian Yaki is straighter and softer than traditional kinky straight hair.
Kinky Straight - This is an unpermed African-American hair texture. This type of yaki looks more like African American hair that has not been relaxed but has just been blow dried straight instead. It is thicker and more course than the texture of Yaki Straight.
Coarse Yaki - Coarse Yaki is the coarsest of all types of yaki. Coarse Yaki looks and feels like African American hair that has not been relaxed or blown dry straight. Coarse Yaki looks like natural African American hair that has not been through any chemical processing. Because naturally African American hair has very tight curls some can look more like waves or curls.
