Three Hair Length Measurement Methods - for lace wigs and custom monofilament wigs
Three Hair Length Measurement Methods - for lace wigs and custom monofilament wigs
Layered Hair Length Measurement refers the hair length knotted all around the whole head is not all the same length. The hair from crown is the longest, but the hair from nape is shorter. In this method hair length is measured from crown to the ends. Take a 16 inches wig measured by Layered Hair Length Measurement as an example: the hair length is 16 inches from crown to end. The longest hair from crown can reach 16 inches, but the hair from nape is less than 16 inches. Layered Hair Length Measurement is used to measure a wig style with layers and untidy tips.

Tidy Tips Hair Length Measurement is a similar measurement way to Layered Hair Length Measurement. The only difference is that in Tidy Tips Hair Length Measurement the tips of the wig style are very tidy. Take a 16-inch wig measured by Tidy Tips Hair Length Measurement as an example: the hair length is 16 inches from crown to end. The longest hair from crown can reach 16 inches, but the hair from nape is less than 16 inches. But, because of the tidy tips, more longer hairs are used in a tidy style wig than in a layered style wig.

Same Length Hair Measurement refers to the hair length knotted all around the whole head is the same length. When you measure the wig from crown to end, it can be 4-6 inches longer than the wig measured by Layered Hair Length Measurement. Take a 16 inches wig measured by Same Length Hair Measurement as an example: the hair length knotted all around the whole head is 16 inches. When you measure the hair from crown to end, it can reach about 20 inches to 22 inches.
